The Miss India Kenya™ beauty pageant showcases the ‘Indian Woman in Africa’. It was conceived to reflect the rich tapestry of the culture and values of the Indian subcontinent interwoven with traditions of her homeland, Kenya.

A terrific theme for sure from inception till date has seen a sellout crowd at the grand finales. Just how popular the event has become is evident when an imitation event did not even come close to stealing its thunder in 2002.

Thus with time the “Miss India Kenya™” has become a much looked forward-event on the Kenyan social calendar, attracting a participation and audience from around the country.

‘East FM’ a popular Asian radio station and ‘Contact Network’ conceived the idea to portray the vibrant ‘Kenyan Asian Woman’.

Her skills are varied, from flaunting African, Asian and Western attire; to her more poignant poetry recital, singing, acting and dancing skills.
