9. Family
Amitabh Bachhan-Akshay Kumar, yet another father and son relationship saga. Will they rekindle the magic of Waqt? Let’s wait and watch. Meanwhile, the song Qatra Qatra may well become a chartbuster. Have you checked out the chemistry between Akshay and Bhumika?

8. Garam Masala
Everyone loves Garam Masala’s Ada. Another hit from Akshay Kumar. However, reviewers have critised John Abraham as the rotten egg of the movie! Too bad for John’s fans, but let’s hope John Abraham’s Water gives him the critical acclaim that he deserves.

7. Bunty Aur Babli
Imagine selling the Taj Mahal! Even more, imagine someone buying it? Pranksters Abhishek and Rani showed us their fooling might in Bunty Aur Babli, but the real thief who stole the entire show from these stars is Aishwarya Rai. If Bunty aur Babli is worth watching, it is because of Aishwarya Rai’s naughty Kajra Re number. Full credit to Alisha Chinoy too for the sexy vocals she lent for this number.

6. Ek Khiladi Ek haseena
When its Feroz Khan with son Fardeen Khan in a film, you obviously expect much from it. Sadly, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena fails to impress in the least bit. The only plus point apart from Feroz Khan is the film’s hot music. If Akhiyan na maar teases you, then ishq hai jhoota sets your mood rocking and even jal jal ke dhuan takes you on a sensational spree.

5. Kyon Ki
Perhaps director Priyadarshan should only stick to what he does best – Comedy. He released both of his films Kyon Ki and Garam Masala on the same day. Whereas Kyon Ki attracted few lost souls, Garam Masala ran to packed houses. However, Kyon Ki’s title track is grows on you slowly and you just can’t avoid humming it atleast ten times a day!

4. Salaam Namaste
A bubbly actress and a funky actor - what could have stopped Salaam Namaste from becoming this year’s biggest entertainer? Saif Ali Khan has finally arrived. After watching Salaam Namaste, you can “saif-ly” say that Saif Ali Khan can indeed replace Shah Rukh Khan’s position as the top actor in Hindi film industry. Salaam Namaste’s title track as well as My Dil goes Hmmm are catchy, but I would recommend Tu jahaan…

3. Neal N Nikki
Virginity is an issue, getting laid is an issue, so what’s new? This Uday Chopra- Tanisha (those who don’t know, Tanisha is Kajol’s sister) flick has been trashed by the critics. However, the film’s music is rocking the charts. Check out, Halla Re.

2. Rang De Basanti
No, you don’t have to wait another five years to see an Aamir Khan flick. Rang De Basanti is yet another youth’s movie. Unlike Dil Chahta Hai, this one is more contemporary and it also features Saif Ali Khan’s sister Soha. The music for this movie is already popular. My recommendations – the title track and Patshala.

1. Bluff Master
Finally, Abhishek can act! Oh wow! And he can rap! Even better. If you haven’t heard Right here, right now… you do not exist in this planet! And if Abhishek rapping in the song right here, right now is a bluff, we will never forgive you Mr. Rohan Sippy!

TOP 20 COUNTDOWN SONGS

20. Koi Aap Sa

Starring Aftab Shivdasani, Dipannita Sharma and Natassha, this movie sank without a trace. Rather sit at home and watch Ekta Kapoor’s serials. However, the music score for this movie, Aadat ho chuki does not fail to impress the ear. Sitting pretty on the 20th hot spot this week.

19. Jawani Diwani
The sleazebag Emraan Hashmi is back with yet another sleazy movie. This time, he calls himself “the serial kisser”! Well, with the hot Celina Jaitley playing his ladylove, the movie is bound to set the screen ablaze. Meanwhile, Jawani Diwani’s music has barely any hummable tracks. Though it surely teaches you how to say Jawani in another way, “Ja-wa-ni diwani….on number 19 in the Count down.

18. Deewane Huye Paagal
A bunch full of fake deewane’s after a not-so-hot haseena, could not save the film from being a disaster. The film offers nothing extraordinary, though Akshay Kumar-Suneil Shetty-Paresh Rawal comedy is always entertaining. Deewane Huye Paagal’s racy number Chakle Chakle features on number 18 in the Hot Stepper’s countdown show.

17. Zinda
Sanjay Dutt with John Abraham and a sensational Lara Dutta. What is Zinda promises to be one moving entertainer. But the film’s music is yet to storm the charts. Listen out, Yeh meri kahani by Strings.

16. Vaah Life ho to aisi
Its normal for Bollywood to copy Hollywood, but Bollywood copying Bollywood? Yep! Its happening now. Vaah Life ho to aisi is heavily inspired by Anil Kapoor’s Mr. India. The only hummable track from the movie is Teri yaad…yaad

15. Shikhar
Ajay Devgan and Shahid Kapoor? A fresh casting and inspiring music. Will Shikhar live upto its expectations? Only time will tell. But for now, Fitna Dil remains people’s favorite.

14. Dus
An action-packed film with lots of “Hollywood-inspired-effects” and one racy number, was the only bahana to watch this film. Dus Bahane – a deadly duo picturised on Abhishek and Zayed Khan still remains people’s favorite.

13. Dosti
Suneel Darshan tries too hard with Dosti. The movie depicts a strong bond between two friends but the last 45 minutes of the film come dangerously close to Kal Ho Na Ho. Nevertheless, the track Dulhaniya may well become the latest to be played at weddings this season.

12. Aashiq Banaya Aapne
The film might have disappeared without a trace, but the film’s music is one for the collection. From the title track Aashiq Banaya Apne, to Dilnashin and even Aap Ki Kashish… this one is bound to set your foot tapping.

11. Ek Ajnabee
Okay, we know Arjun Rampal can not act to save his life. But Amitabh Bachhan does a decent job in the movie. One track that you would want to remember? Ek Ajnabee – Mama told me.

10. Kalyug
A movie based on pornography in India. Who is the porn mafia? Amrita Singh. Sigh, sigh! However, Kalyug’s music is really soothing, especially Jiya dhadak dhadak jaye.
